I fail too much

I still can't get over what happened last night. I've been packing up my bag when I couldn't find my bath towel. I looked for it everywhere and I couldn't find in the laundry as well. At first, I thought I'd just forget about it and go back to my room, but then Tohru showed up all of a sudden.

"What are you looking for, Kyo?" she asks.

"Oh... uhh..." I'm so embarrassed. "My bath towel? Have you seen it? I need it for my trip--" I covered my mouth! Do I need to remind her of this trip?! I'm so stupid!

"Mou, Kyo." Tohru smiled at me. "It's hanged outside. Are you leaving today?" Leaving? Ugh. You're killing me.

"I'm leaving tomorrow. Don't bother. I can go without it."

"Okay. Boy, I'm sure you're going to have a blast. You really earned this exciting trip, Kyo." I was speechless at what she said. I felt more guilty for my mistake of not being real aware of my savings.

"I'm... I'm really sorry, Tohru." I felt really bad. Tohru could still come, but I want to be away for at least two weeks. I've planned a lot. If Tohru comes, with my current budget, we would only be able to stay out for at least three days. Why three? Because I'll be spending the best gifts for her and I won't hold back. Even though Tohru doesn't want that, I'll still spend my money for her... hey, that's not a bad idea. "Hey, Tohru--" but if Tohru comes with me, that means I'm gonna have to change the whole trip. "Do you still want to come with me?"

"I uhh... ano..." Tohru's cheek blushed. "You've planned this trip for so long, Kyo. And I know it's going to be fun. But if you're asking me because you feel bad, then you don't have to be so considerate. I'm fine. Don't worry, because this is your trip. Don't feel bad about me and I feel I'll just be selfish. I feel I'm just in the way of your original plan."

"That's not true!" Damn it! I've changed my mind!

"Oh, Tohru. There you are. Can you come with me to the kitchen and see if I've got the recipe right?" Shigure butted in.

"Kyo, I'll see you after your trip. I'm really fine. Besides, I would need to book off from my work to--"

Everything faded. My physical self replied to her with a smile. I didn't know what Tohru was telling me. Is she upset? Or is it really okay to leave him? I went outside and saw my bath towel. I frowned as I grabbed and hanged it in my room beside the window. Then I laid on my bed thinking of what to do.

"Crap!" I fell asleep and it was already dark! The clock read 11pm! I was out that long?! I went downstairs and I only found Yuki.

"Where's Tohru?"

"Sleeping already." is what he said. I missed it! I missed my chance! What good would it do if I asked her out tomorrow?-- now that she's told me that she'll see me after the trip?

Kyo is the cat or outcast of the zodiac. Whenever he embraces a person of the opposite gender, he transforms into a cat. Kyo is really sensitive, so it is easy to get him pissed off. Whenever he loses his temper, he says mean things without thinking about what he's saying.

Kyo is also really competitive with Yuki. He will get in a fist fight or argument, but Yuki always beats him or has a comeback. He even has to live with Yuki.

Both of them have a crush on their housekeeper, Tohru, which leads to a lot of problems in their house.
